FAQs
How long do your sessions take?
Depending on the shoot, I usually like to have at least a full hour with my clients. I have everything ready to go when you arrive so there no wasted time in set-up!
Can you come to my home/favorite spot?
Sure! Sometimes that's the best place to bring out your child or pet's personality! We can chat about your needs and figure out what is best for you and your vision. Additional miles fees may apply if more than 20 miles from Minneapolis. I also have many places around the Cities that I love to shoot in but if you have a secret place I don't know about, please do share!
What do I wear??
Headshots: OPTIONS OPTIONS OPTIONS! Just remember, you should be the focus, not what you are wearing. I always suggest something solid and vibrant. I don't suggest solid white or black; but if you love it, I can do it! I may even suggest you go have a great time purchasing a new shirt/outfit that makes you feel fabulous! But what it really comes down to is, what makes you feel amazing. Bring that. And more. Also bring additional make up for touch-ups. I always keep a stock of shine reducing powder for all skin tones, but bring more than you think you will need.
Portraits/Family/Child: Wear what you feel comfortable in and you feel great wearing! Do I suggest wearing the same thing as your mate/family? Ehhh...no. BUT, do coordinate! Bring a few things and we can chat about what will look best in the place we are shooting. Try not to wear solid white or solid black. But if you really really look great in black, wear it and I will make it look fab.
Where can I take my photos to get printed?
Anywhere you like! You get full rights to printing the digital files you select from your shoot. However, the print makes the photo so I highly suggest going through me to get fabulous prints. Why spend the money getting professional photos taken and then get them printed at a crummy printer? I work with a local professional printer and you can order prints directly through my website by "adding to cart." Print prices are very competitive (similar to most local big chain printers) and of HIGH quality. Let me know if you would like to see print samples.
