About Megan Engeseth Photography
I first got really into photography when I took at 35mm darkroom class in college. Learning all those things about exposure, shutter speed, aperture, film speed, and composition on black and white film was a wonderful experience. Not to mention that magic moment of seeing your image come to life right before your eyes in the darkroom. Four years ago, I transitioned to digital and I've found that that experience of playing with light and exposure without the benefit of digital instant gratification has served me well.
I currently shoot all digital. I'm a Nikon girl and a lens junkie. I love playing with light. I especially love photographing people and pets. So much can happen in the split second an image is captured. I lean toward keeping my images pure and truthful but also love creating drama in my images.
I have 2 cats, a dog and a photo-shy fiance. They are very sick of being photographed. I have lots of actor friends who love it. I hate the cold. I'm obsessed with bad horror movies. I love to continually learn and talk to people who love what they do. I can be bribed with coffee.
